1. Fernsehenturm en Alexanderplatz

This former East German court has the second highest TV tower in Europe, this TV tower is together with the Brandenburg tower the ultimate symbol of Berlin. You can go to the  top to enjoy the fantastic view, but also for dinner in the revolving restaurant . Alexanderplatz is increasingly surrounded by western stores but there are several  reminders  of the  East German past:  the authentic world clock and fountain of international friendship, originate from a time when the square was used for fairs and parades . 2. Gendarmenmarkt

According to many, the Gendarmenmarkt is the most beautiful square of the city, the 18th and 19th century buildings include the Schauspielhaus and the identical looking Franzosischer Dom and the Deutsche Dom.

3. Unter den Linden

4. Brandenburger Tor

The number one landmark of the city, completely refurbished in 2002 and restored to its former glory. The Branderburger Tor forms  a good point to explore the city with the Reichtag and Potsdamer Platz around the corner, and Unter den Linden in front of you . 5. Potzdamer platz

6. Reichstag

7. Judische Museum

8. Philharmonie

9. Karl Marx Allee

10. Berlijnse Muur /Eastside gallery

15. Tempelhof

Tempelhof, is a former airport which slowly turns into an outdoor recreation area. Where in  '48 / '49 the area was used by the Nazis as an airport, it is now a place where you enjoy  freedom. Both literally (gigantic landmass) and figuratively (festivals, office space for startups , ...). In the future, this area this area will be developed as a model for contemporary urban space.  Now it is mainly a place where the Berliner come to skate, cycle, and  BBQ! Tempelhof is best reached by public transport : S41 , S42 , S46 , S47 S-Bahn station Tempelhof

16. Potsdam

If you  want to find  shelter outside the city and are looking for a bit of culture in nature, then Potsdam is highly recommended. In an hour you mingle in a very different world.
